This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 12 weeks of training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted onsite.

If you are within commutable distance to the office at 1707 Cole Blvd Suite 100, Golden, CO 80401, you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Answer a minimum of 60-75 incoming calls daily from patients, providers, specialty offices, pharmacies, etc. Schedule office visits, annual wellness visits, etc. for a multitude of Internal Medicine and Family Practice primary care offices. Request medication refills, referrals, send messages on behalf of patients, providers, or specialty offices. Navigate multiple Electronic Health Record systems. Follow ROI/HIPAA protocols. Register new patients and input patient demographics and insurance information. Attend monthly staff meetings (can be in person or virtual). Attend quarterly on-site trainings.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED Must be 18 years old OR older 1+ years of experience in customer service environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications Ability to type - average 40 wpm Ability to troubleshoot IT/Computer issues independently Ability to complete the training onsite Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years prior health care experience Knowledge of Medical Terminology

 

 

Telecommuting Requirements:

Reside within 30 miles from 1707 Cole Blvd Suite 100, Golden, CO 80401. Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Colorado, Residents Only: The hourly range for this is $16.00 - $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
