Customer Service Representative 1
**Location:** Bothell, WA **Work Hours:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM **Hours per Week:** 40 **Pay Rate:** $24.00 – $26.00/hr (Final offer based on experience and interview outcome) **Schedule/Remote Flexibility:** Hybrid + In-office for training/onboarding; remote on Thursdays and Fridays thereafter. + Business Casual dress code. **Position Overview:** We are seeking a highly motivated **Customer Service Representative 1** to join our dynamic team in Bothell, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer orders, ensuring timely deliveries, handling discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with both internal systems and regulatory requirements. This position provides an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growing team with the potential to transition into a full-time role after the contract period. **Key Responsibilities:** **Order Fulfillment:** + **Receive & Process Orders:** Manage customer purchase orders through manual entry, EDI transmissions, and customer/supplier portals. + **Parts Demand Management:** Secure parts demand to protect lead times before receiving customer purchase orders. + **Coordinate with Program Management:** Monitor and communicate order statuses, delivery timelines, and potential delays to customers and stakeholders. + **Expedite Orders:** Ensure expedited orders are processed in line with service level agreements and customer expectations. + **Documentation Compliance:** Maintain accurate order transaction records in accordance with SOX and internal compliance standards. + **Engineering Changes:** Respond to engineering drawing changes that affect sales orders and schedules. + **Customer Discrepancies:** Work collaboratively with customers and accounting teams to resolve account discrepancies. **Planning & Supplier Management:** + **Material Requirements:** Coordinate with internal teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet customer demands. + **Conflict Resolution:** Resolve issues between stakeholders (PMO, Sales Forecasting, Inventory Management) regarding scheduling and planning. + **Delivery Commitments:** Manage significant shifts in demand to meet customer delivery timelines. + **Order Holds:** Oversee the clearance of holds on customer orders to prevent delays. **Contract Compliance:** + **Audit Orders:** Verify customer profiles, commercial terms, and open orders to ensure accuracy and prevent delivery and collection issues. + **Terms & Conditions Compliance:** Ensure purchase orders include the necessary terms and conditions for processing. + **Customer Incentives:** Track and manage customer incentives, credits, and concessions based on contract terms. + **Audit Support:** Provide documentation for internal/external audits to meet compliance standards. **Finance/Credit Support:** + **Price Lists & Billing:** Ensure the correct application of customer-specific price lists in coordination with Finance and Marketing teams. + **Accounts Receivable:** Assist with AR collections by addressing discrepancies and ensuring customer accounts meet contract requirements. + **Troubleshoot Issues:** Follow up on product rejections, conformity issues, incorrect shipments, and Proof-of-Delivery to resolve and mitigate collection roadblocks. **Skills and Qualifications:** + **Education:** High School Diploma or GED required. + **Experience:** + Minimum 4 years of experience in customer service and supply chain management. + At least 2 years of experience in the aircraft or electronics industry is preferred. + Experience in in-flight entertainment is a plus. + Strong understanding of the full supply chain process. + **Technical Skills:** + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. + Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is highly desirable. + Ability to interpret technical and contractual language. + **Communication Skills:** + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to interact with a diverse, global customer base and collaborate with internal teams. + **Problem-Solving Skills:** + Proactive approach to conflict resolution and managing competing priorities. + Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision. + **Organizational Skills:** + Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. + Ability to mentor colleagues and take on new projects. **Why Join Our Team?** + **Supportive Work Environment:** Work in an engaged, collaborative team where teamwork and communication are key. + **Variety in Tasks:** With a diverse set of responsibilities, no two days are the same, keeping things exciting and challenging. + **Growth Opportunities:** There is potential for upward mobility within the company, with the possibility of converting to a full-time position after 90 days. + **Work Flexibility:** Enjoy hybrid work options (remote on Thursdays and Fridays after onboarding) to support work-life balance. + **Competitive Compensation:** Competitive pay rate, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. **Other Requirements:** + Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer. + Occasional travel to customer sites may be required. + Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently. **Pay Details:** $24.00 to $26.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
