Job DescriptionEnsure smooth and timely freight process flowEnsure accurate and timely data entry into our operating systemEnsure exceptions are monitored and actioned timelyEnsure accurate and timely client and vendor billingTrack and trace Drayage Management and/or Air Import files as requiredEnsure timely clearance and delivery of freight to customer for Import shipmentsEnsure documents are sent to customer or broker for customs purposes in a timely mannerInteract with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standardsMeet compliance regulations at all times. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer’s policies / requirementsMeet KPI standards, as per the company’s proceduresUnderstand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiencyContribute to maintain strong relationships with suppliers (airlines, steamship lines, trucking companies, and others)Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated

Qualifications6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceUnderstanding of air and ocean documentation process a plusUnderstanding of Final mile drayage process a plusEffective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive resultsPro-active, strong organizational skillsProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Additional Information

Expected salary: $24-$27/hour
