We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join a leading Company located in the Cleveland, OH surrounding area.
The primary function of the Customer Service Representative is to help the company retain customers and attract new customers. Being a great communicator and having a desire to help others while interacting with new people from many different industries is required. We are interested in candidates who can solve problems, project a high energy level, and possess a natural sociability that draws others to them.
Responsibilities: Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, vendors, co-workers, supervisors/managers, and salespeopleProvides prompt responses and follow-up to customer inquiries for pricing, delivery, and complaints as necessaryInteracts with vendors, production, sales, and shipping to meet customer's expectations for pricing, delivery, and qualityRecords, files, and maintains all customer related documents, specifications, drawings, estimates, pricing, and correspondences in customer filesEstablishes selling price for orders and quotations with the guidance of managementEnters and edits orders, placing a strong focus on detail and accuracyCreates and maintains accurate customer specifications for order entry and estimatingExpedites orders through vendors or production as mandated by customer requests for deliveryResponsible for active participation in New Item / New Account Meetings when neededInitiates purchase orders for purchased itemsMaintains perpetual inventory on approved warehouse customers and places orders to replenish set warehousing levels
Basic Hiring Criteria:Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree preferredMinimum one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceNeeds to have Corrugated box experience – works with the quality department, production, and engineering
