Customer Service Representative – Fresno, CA

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to be located in Fresno, CA. This role serves as a key point of contact for assigned customers with a primary focus on customer satisfaction. The representative will maintain a strong relationship with key contacts at the customer location as well as with the sales representatives responsible for those accounts. Project management and data entry are essential day to day activities.

Receives and processes routine customer orders, inquiries, and/or complaints covering items or products ordered. Maintains an ongoing relationship with selected customers and sales staff. Incumbents utilize knowledge of products and product availability to provide a communications link to the customer. Applies basic skills and procedures for the position within assigned functional area. Duties and tasks are standardized. Resolves routine questions and problems. Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

What you need to succeed:

Requires a high level of attention to detailStrong math skills and Excel requiredRelevant work history will be strongly considered in absence of degreeSelf-starter with a customer service orientationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively multi-task, be self-managed, and manage time effectivelyKnowledge of industry is a plus. Knowledge of manufacturing and inventory processing is a plusKnowledge of Six Sigma or lean manufacturing process as it relates to customer service is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $40,500.00 - $67,500.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
