Description We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to join our team located in Rochester, New York. This role will be part of our Manufacturing industry and will involve handling both inbound and outbound calls, troubleshooting customer issues, and managing customer data. This is a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Handle a mix of incoming and outgoing calls, providing excellent customer service. • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively. • Schedule service appointments as needed, ensuring a smooth customer experience. • Document all customer interactions and update customer database accurately. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions. • Utilize strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members. • Maintain proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing call center customer service. • Multitask effectively, managing various customer service tasks simultaneously. • Ensure typing accuracy, aiming for a rate of 45+ words per minute. Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role within the manufacturing industry • Proficiency in managing inbound calls in a high-volume environment • Familiarity with call center operations and customer service best practices • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment • High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated • Flexibility to work in shifts as needed • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus • High level of patience and emotional intelligence.
