Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the logistics industry, based in Port Wentworth, Georgia. In this role, you will be the secondary business contact for customers and serve as an account manager, ensuring client satisfaction. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and requires specific skills such as answering inbound calls, data entry, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain customer accounts in a timely and efficient manner. • Provide high-quality customer service to ensure client satisfaction. • Represent client needs and goals within the team, communicating effectively to ensure quality. • Handle customer orders related to the shipping and receiving of products, liaising with the warehouse to meet shipping deadlines. • Gain a thorough understanding of the distribution supply chain to assist customers effectively. • Comply with all directives from the Supervisor, ensuring all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables are handled professionally. • Review all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met. • Assist other Customer Service Representatives to manage workload effectively. • Enter data in Microsoft Excel, manipulating formulas and functions for reporting. • Handle email correspondence professionally, ensuring all customer inquiries are resolved in a timely manner. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. • Experience in data entry and order entry. • Strong customer service skills, including experience in a call center environment. • Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls. • Experience in responding to customer inquiries through email correspondence. • Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars. • Demonstrated ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns. • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
