Customer Service Representative
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative based in FAYETTEVILLE, New York, 13066-0929, United States. The role involves working in a call center setting, answering inbound and outbound calls, and providing excellent customer service. In addition to this, you will be required to perform data entry tasks, handle email correspondence, schedule appointments, and work with various software and insurance products. Responsibilities: • Answering inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with their inquiries and issues • Providing high-quality customer service, resolving customer inquiries efficiently and effectively • Handling data entry tasks to maintain and update customer records • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various tasks including order entries • Conducting email correspondence with customers to provide information and support • Scheduling appointments for customers as required • Working with Epic Software to manage customer records and information • Dealing with auto insurance, personal insurance, financial lines, liability insurance, and property insurance products and queries • Ensuring all customer interactions are handled professionally and in line with company guidelines. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls • Proven experience with data entry and order entry • Capability to handle email correspondence efficiently and professionally • Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word • Experience with Epic Software would be advantageous • Knowledge of auto insurance, personal insurance, financial lines, liability insurance, and property insurance • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to different situations • High level of professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction • Willingness to continuously learn and improve skills.
