Customer Service Representative
Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Sacramento, California. The role will be based on a hybrid schedule, with three days in the office and two days working from home. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and requires strong self-starters who are not afraid to take initiative and learn new things. Responsibilities: • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat effectively and efficiently. • Utilizing CRM solutions, predominantly Salesforce, to maintain accurate customer records and data. • Processing customer credit applications and managing customer accounts. • Collaborating with the operations team to update order statuses and manage returns or replacements as needed. • Making both inbound and outbound calls as necessary, and handling any voicemails that come in. • Assisting customers with slight troubleshooting on devices and helping them understand different aspects of billing. • Regular interaction with carriers (UPS, FedEx) to obtain tracking information for customers. • Continual learning and understanding of the business and team, with a willingness to ask questions and problem solve independently. • Working with various customer bases, including end users purchasing equipment and clients of all types. • Pulling reports and data in Salesforce and other systems as needed. • Willingness to be trained in different areas to increase versatility and efficiency. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be a key part of our team, working closely with other team members and customers to ensure the smooth operation of our IT Consulting services Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's or Honours Degree in relevant field. • No minimum years of experience required. • Proficiency in handling inbound telephone calls. • Experience in a call center customer service environment is beneficial. • Ability to effectively manage both inbound and outbound calls. • Strong communication skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Demonstrable ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends, or on holidays if required by the company. • Proficiency in using common computer software and applications. • Demonstrable ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize them effectively. • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. • Bilingual skills can be advantageous but are not required.
