Job Description

Global, ASX-listed market leader in Logistics & Supply Chain, with shiny new offices at Macquarie Park & a Hybrid work arrangementDynamic, collaborative team who’s passionate about elevating the Customer ExperienceActively contribute to a fast-paced Customer Service environment, maximising your relationship-building & organisation skills! 

As part of the collaborative & supportive CHEP Customer Services team, reporting directly to the Customer Service Team Leader, your role will be to handle all enquiries from Customers, CHEP field staff and providers covering Logistics, movement transactions, invoices, systems queries, new accounts and general support.
 

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Resolving queries around account transactions, invoices, systems queries, new accounts and general supportAnswering 40-45 calls/day professionally and positively, providing first call resolutionFocusing on the customer to understand their needs and pain point to effectively problem solveEntering and maintaining accurate data records on various systemsActively working to understand CHEP's business functions, systems and products so you can provide a one-stop shop for inbound callsAction all same day deliveries and/or cancellations within agreed timelinesUnderstands all systems used by CHEP Australia and the use of data within those systems.Helps to identify and contribute to performance improvement activities, to ensure continuous developmentResolve operational day-to-day issues for CHEP logistics movements with CHEP Logistics Carrier within agreed timelines via phone or email communication within agreed time parameters.Communicate with customers in relation to their transport requests and notify of any delays to deliveries within agreed timelines via phone or email communication within agreed time parameters.

What you can bring:

Demonstrated experience in a busy customer service and/or logistics support role within a contact centreExperience in quickly and efficiently solving customer issuesA can-do positive attitude with an empathetic natureComputer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSome knowledge of SAP / Saleforce / Virtual Assistant, i.e. 'Chatbot' experience would be an advantageStrong communication skills with an aptitude to build strong working relationships with a wide range of peopleHigh attention to detail, with systematic and timely follow-throughThe ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and operate well under pressure
