Customer Service Representative
Are you a customer-focused professional with a knack for import/export logistics? We are looking for a Customer Service Representative with specialized expertise in import/export operations to join our team. In this role, you will support both dock supervisors and clerical staff by managing customer interactions, processing orders, and ensuring smooth import/export operations. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in delivering exceptional service and maintaining accurate records. **Location:** Malvern, PA **Pay:** $18/hour, paid weekly. **Key Responsibilities:** + Provide top-notch customer service through phone, email, and in-person communications. + Process and manage orders, including writing orders and creating bills of lading. + Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound truck shipments. + Maintain and update shipping and receiving records accurately. + Communicate effectively with dock employees to ensure proper product handling and logistics. + Track and manage product inventory to prevent discrepancies. + Assist with record maintenance and filing for operational efficiency. + Verify accurate scanning of inventory for both inbound and outbound shipments using HPP. + Generate accurate pick lists and ensure error-free processing. + Perform week-end closing tasks every Monday. + Adhere to health, safety, and cleanliness standards in all activities. + Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Prior experience in import/export logistics beneficial. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access required. + Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). + Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively. + Capable of working under pressure while maintaining professionalism. + Cooperative team player with a positive attitude. + Clear and pleasant phone voice with a focus on customer satisfaction. + Proactive in suggesting and implementing process improvements. + Effective communication skills in English. + Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and calculations. + Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety in a fast-paced environment. **Education and Experience:** + High School Diploma or GED required. + Previous experience in a customer service or import/export role is preferred. **Why Join Us:** + Be a crucial part of a dynamic team committed to excellence. + Engage in a role that combines customer service with logistical expertise. + Enjoy opportunities for professional growth and developmet **Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
