We are looking for you! VCA Dover Animal Hospital is a modern 2 doctor practice in Dover, De. Looking to grow our team!   We are located within 45 minutes of the Delaware/Maryland Beaches which hosts many outdoor recreational opportunities .For those who enjoy the city and all that is has to offer we are within 2 hours of Philadelphia/ DC and we are within 10 minutes of the DAFB.  Our newly built facility is conveniently located at 201 Towne Centre Drive Suite 100 Dover De 19904.

We offer our clients a high standard of care and we believe in educating our clients so they can make the best medical choices for their pets. We have a new state of the art facility with 7 exam rooms (2 cat only exam rooms)

Our highly skilled support staff play an integral role in supporting our doctors and providing excellent medical care to our patients and a high level of customer service to our clients. Our community based practice provides opportunities to engage with our clients in a variety of settings including service projects, client education seminars, and family friendly festivals.

 We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team that posses the ability to provide quality customer service in a friendly and supportive environment. Experience is preferred but not required . 

Our ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy working with animals and their owners and want to be part of a fun, interactive team. Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining a good sense of humor are encouraged.   Our nurturing team approach will help anyone interested in succeeding learn how to make a positive impact on the overall quality of life for pets.

Our Client Service Representatives set the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities.   Our CSR's are the pivot around which the hospital operates and are responsible for:
• Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
