Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to manage and coordinate our shipment schedules. This role involves scheduling pick-ups, tracing shipments, providing shipment ETAs, and rate quotes. You will work closely with internal departments, partners, delivery agents, brokers, and container stations to ensure timely and accurate shipment deliveries. Additionally, you will handle delivery appointments, re-consignments, and assist customers with registration and utilization of our website.
Responsibilities
+ Schedule pick-ups and trace shipments.
+ Provide shipment ETAs, rate quotes, and freight charges.
+ Coordinate with internal departments, partners, delivery agents, brokers, and container stations to schedule shipments.
+ Schedule delivery appointments and handle re-consignments.
+ Coordinate communication with customers, drivers, and Accounts Receivable regarding Driver Collect and C.O.D. shipments.
+ Ensure accurate billing of shipments.
+ Compile and deliver custom reports; perform daily audits of reports.
+ Document all customer interactions for follow-up and record-keeping purposes.
+ Assist customers with registration and utilization of our website.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Proficient in data entry and scheduling appointments.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Detail-oriented and capable of performing administrative support tasks.
+ Experience in a call center environment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a fast-paced work environment; strong attention to detail.
+ Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); basic typing skills.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
+ Effective as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
+ Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including early mornings, evenings, and non-traditional holidays.
Work Environment
The position is based in West Chester, PA and requires 100% onsite attendance from 10:00am – 7pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
