CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – CORPORATE OFFICE - (AUSTIN, MN) (2 OPENINGS)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the timely, accurate processing, and maintenance of replenishment purchase orders for Wal-Mart. Employee will manage order from EDI to Delivery on all Walmart Loads Employee is the customer’s advocate for order fulfillment and delivery. Employee will watch lead times, warn on low fill rates and ensure on time delivery. Promptly address deviations concerning customer purchase orders or service requests with brokers, sales management, marketing, distribution, quality assurance, production scheduling and Wal-Mart procurement. Responsible for the timely verification of input documents, EDI transmission, and accurate input of all sales order information into the sales order management system. Accurately input and communicate any change orders or special instructions to appropriate JOTS Scheduling, Quality Assurance, Traffic and Revenue Finance personnel. Understand and follow Enterprise Hormel related to Customer Service and Order Entry functions. Communicate and execute established ship and delivery schedules as developed with the Traffic department. Communicate to sales and Hormel CPFR’s, any product shortage not identified through “Product Allocation.” Collaborate with Traffic, WalMart and Sales Management on the disposition of product overage or refused product. Monitor that customer orders are placed within established guidelines. Communicate, manage, and control customer orders which do not meet product lead-time requirements. Remedy short lead time issues by evaluating and adjusting Wal-Mart lead time review day schedules.QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
Customer Service experience. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to initiate appropriate action independently. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel. Demonstrated ability to execute detailed work independently and accurately. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.Preferred
1 or more years of related experience. Broad knowledge of customer base for example Costco, Target, AWG, etc. Advanced knowledge of ORACLE and processes. At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $19.88 - $27.83 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
