Customer Service Representative

Our client, a leading flavor and fragrance company in Mt. Olive, NJ, is searching for a Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support from order placement to delivery, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Process orders from customers, sales representatives, and customer portals.Navigate multiple computer systems to enter, retrieve, and process orders.Manage invoicing functions across various customer portals.Collaborate with internal teams (Planning, Production, Purchasing, QC, and Shipping) to meet customer requirements, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, managing returns, issuing credits, and tracking shipments.Maintain and update customer information and instructions in database systems.Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, including managing complex and key accounts.Act as a liaison between customers, sales representatives, and internal departments to coordinate ship dates, quantities, and special instructions.Uphold customer satisfaction by managing intricate details and ensuring a smooth order process.Attend training sessions, participate in meetings, and travel locally to customer sites as needed.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and maintain accountability for defined responsibilities.

Qualifications & Experience

2-5 years of customer service experience, ideally in the fragrance industry.Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills (verbal and written).Proficiency in relevant computer applications, including advanced knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle), Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Procis, and Outlook.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.Knowledge of customer service principles, numeric and written language applications, and product knowledge.Adaptability, initiative, and stress tolerance in a fast-paced environment.Friendly, responsible, and self-motivated with exceptional work ethic and a positive attitude.Superior organizational skills and telephone etiquette.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay Rate: $28.00/hour
