Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Rep/Dispatcher in Fenton, Michigan. The primary function of this role will be to ensure the smooth operation of our communication systems, which includes handling multi-line phone systems, assisting callers, and communicating with bus drivers via two-way radio. Responsibilities: • Manage customer inquiries effectively and efficiently using a multi-line phone system. • Coordinate with drivers using two-way radio systems to relay important information. • Assist in the routing of drivers based on assessments of various situations. • Provide exceptional customer service with empathy and understanding to address callers' concerns. • Calmly and efficiently deescalate urgent or high-stress situations. • Utilize various computer programs for processing and record keeping. • Ensure all communication and actions adhere to the highest level of customer service standards. Requirements • Tech-savvy, with the ability to pick-up quickly on different systems. • Experience in answering inbound calls promptly and professionally. • Excellent communication skills to effectively relay information to team members. • Strong customer service skills to address and resolve issues or queries. • Experience in operating multi-line phone systems efficiently. • Familiarity with two-way radio systems and protocols.
