Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Oil & Gas - Exploration & Production industry based in Midland, Texas. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including sorting and delivering mail, operating mailroom machinery, and performing minor maintenance tasks. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the distribution of incoming mail by sorting and delivering it to the relevant department or employee • Manage interdepartmental mail, including the sorting and delivery of notices and memoranda • Operate various mailroom machines, including postage meters, photocopying machines, and mail folding and inserting machines • Perform minor maintenance tasks such as using a screwdriver or wrench for minor replacements • Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds • Collect mail from various departments • Provide customer service by answering inbound calls and responding to email correspondence • Carry out data entry tasks and order entry as required • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various tasks • Schedule appointments as necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas - Explor & Prod industry • Proven skills in Answering Inbound Calls and handling both Inbound and Outbound Calls • Experience in providing Call Center Customer Service and general Customer Service • Proficiency in Data Entry and Order Entry operations • Capability to handle Email Correspondence effectively • Familiarity with scheduling appointments and managing calendars • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is essential • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
