Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to become a part of our team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. In this role, you will be expected to manage customer queries, coordinate sales activities, and ensure smooth communication between all parties. You will be based in our office, and your primary focus will be on sales coordination and delivering superior customer service. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Respond to customer queries via phone, email, and chat, offering information about products and resolving issues promptly • Manage customer records, consistently updating our CRM system with accurate and current data • Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics, finance, and production to ensure order delivery schedules are met • Support marketing campaigns, trade shows, and other customer engagement activities • Work with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing sales documents, and processing invoices • Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in company databases and spreadsheets • Handle pick-up and drop-off of shipments and office supplies • Proactively engage with customers to confirm payment status, address any outstanding balances, and update records accordingly. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service role • Demonstrated ability to answer inbound calls in a detail oriented manner • Prior experience in a call center environment is necessary • Exceptional customer service skills and a customer-first mindset • Proficiency in data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy • Ability to handle email correspondence promptly and with attention to detail • Familiarity with both inbound and outbound calling processes • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word • Experience with order entry systems, ensuring correct processing of customer orders • Ability to schedule appointments efficiently, balancing priorities • Experience using CRM software to manage and track customer interactions TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
