Customer Service Representative
Description We are offering a contract for a contract to permanent position in the hospitality industry, specifically for a Customer Service Representative role in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky, United States. In this role, you will be actively involved in managing customer reservations, handling queries, and maintaining an accurate record of transactions. Responsibilities • Efficiently manage customer reservation requests through inbound and outbound calls. • Accurately input reservation details into the system to meet client needs. • Address and resolve issues encountered by hotels and clients over the phone. • Collaborate with all departments to communicate any client-related issues. • Implement problem-solving skills to assist clients and hotels over the phone. • Ensure client needs and issues are properly notated using appropriate speech and grammar. • Effectively handle additional responsibilities as required or assigned. Requirements • Proven experience in the hospitality industry • Demonstrated ability in handling inbound call center responsibilities • Proficiency in managing both inbound and outbound calls • Previous experience in a call center customer service role • Ability to effectively resolve customer service issues • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving abilities • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks • Availability to work in shifts, during weekends, and on public holidays • High school diploma or equivalent qualification • Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to the role • Knowledge of the hospitality industry's best practices and standards • Ability to maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude at all times.
