Customer Service Representative
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Buffalo, New York. This role involves interacting with customers, processing orders, and maintaining detailed records within an office setting. Responsibilities: • Promptly respond to customer communications through phone calls and emails • Accurately enter and process customer orders into the system • Generate and dispatch invoices to customers • Make follow-up sales calls to potential leads and cultivate customer relationships • Deliver product information and guide customers in selecting the best solutions • Handle customer inquiries or concerns and escalate to management when necessary • Keep precise records of customer interactions and order tracking in CRM software • Work in collaboration with internal teams such as shipping and operations to ensure seamless order fulfillment • Proactively solve problems and work independently with a customer-focused mindset • Effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls efficiently. • Demonstrated experience in call center customer service. • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to empathize and professionally troubleshoot any customer service problems. • Proficient data entry skills, ensuring accuracy and speed. • Capability to handle email correspondence professionally and promptly. • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, using them effectively for tasks. • Experience in order entry, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders. • Ability to schedule appointments, balancing multiple calendars and prioritizing appropriately.
