Customer Service Representative
Description We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team within the Government sector, based in Rialto, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing customer accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of customer records. This short-term contract opportunity offers the chance to work within a dynamic team environment. Responsibilities: • Efficiently respond to customer inquiries via phone and email correspondence • Ensure accurate data entry and record keeping of customer information • Handle both inbound and outbound calls to address customer needs • Utilize customer service software to manage and monitor customer accounts • Schedule appointments as necessary to further assist customers • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel in the execution of duties • Manage order entries and ensure they are processed accurately • Provide exceptional call center customer service at all times • Assist with any additional duties as requested by the team manager. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within a government setting • Proven ability to answer inbound calls promptly and professionally • Prior experience in a call center environment, providing exceptional customer service • Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail • Experience in handling email correspondence effectively and professionally • Demonstrated ability to manage both inbound and outbound calls efficiently • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word • Experience in order entry and processing, with meticulous attention to detail • Ability to schedule appointments accurately and manage multiple schedules • Familiarity with customer service software and ability to quickly learn new systems TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
