Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry. The job is located in Victor, New York, United States. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in managing our waste and recycling programs, handling customer inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely scheduling of compactor hauls.
Responsibilities:
• Manage customer inquiries and provide prompt resolutions.
• Maintain detailed and precise customer records.
• Handle the creation and confirmation of Purchase Orders using internal portals.
• Schedule compactor hauls efficiently and ensure customer notification of confirmed pickups.
• Interpret graph data and event logs for effective decision making.
• Ensure accurate data entry of invoices and device information.
• Collaborate with the technical team to address device-related issues.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for editing and creating worksheets.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Alert customer service of site issues and ensure subsequent follow-ups. Requirements • Proficient in answering inbound calls, handling customer inquiries, and resolving problems promptly.
• Previous experience in call center customer service is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally, responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform tasks such as data analysis and report generation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, with the ability to draft communications, create reports and documents.
• Skilled in order entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data input and processing.
