Customer Service Representative
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Call Center Customer Service Representative in Burbank, California. This role is within the Government industry, providing an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and vital team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be pivotal in handling customer interactions and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient data management. This role is in office 5 days a week. ** Responsibilities: • Ensure customer inquiries are promptly and accurately addressed • Manage inbound and outbound customer calls • Maintain high-level customer service in a call center environment • Accurately enter customer data and orders • Coordinate and schedule appointments as per customer requests • Manage and process customer credit applications • Keep customer credit records up-to-date • Use Microsoft Excel and Word to document and track customer interactions • Communicate with customers via email correspondence regarding their accounts and orders. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent verbal communication skills. • Proven experience in a call center customer service environment. • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service, with a focus on empathy and problem-solving. • Proficient in data entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Able to manage email correspondence effectively and professionally. • Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, maintaining a positive attitude throughout. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and analysis. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, with a focus on document creation and formatting. • Experience with order entry, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to schedule appointments accurately, coordinating multiple schedules if necessary.
