Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Distribution Agent in the logistics industry, based in Aurora, Colorado. As a Distribution Agent, your main function will be to handle customer interactions, maintain customer records, and work closely with the internal warehouse team. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer orders coming in from various channels. • Ensure timely shipment of orders via FedEx. • Maintain and update spreadsheets with inventory information. • Communicate effectively with customers via internal systems and email. • Coordinate with the internal warehouse team on order requirements and actions needed. • Engage in data entry tasks, taking up a significant part of the working day. • Resolve customer inquiries and issues, providing outstanding service at all times. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. • Utilize skills in Customer Service, Switchboard - Phones 1 - 10 Lines, Email, and Outlook. Requirements • Proven experience in a Customer Service role within the Logistics industry. • Proficient in managing switchboard phones with 1-10 lines. • Excellent email communication skills. • Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for various tasks. • Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and effectively. • Familiarity with logistics procedures and terminology. • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach. • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to urgency and importance. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently. • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and workload effectively. • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
