This position is Monday - Friday 830am-5pm. In this role the Customer Service Representative I will provide dependable, quality customer service, including response to product line inquiries, efficient order processing, handle routine phone inquiries. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Answer phone and direct calls to appropriate personnel. * Communicate price quotations and requests for general product information via phone, fax, and mail. * Compose necessary correspondence. * Take orders by phone and process per company operating procedures, including processing of completed orders and filing of same. * Using computer system, enter orders into order entry system; enter changes to existing orders; establish new customer accounts; and fax order confirmations. * Interact with packing, shipping, labeling and inspection areas to effectively process orders and satisfy customer requirements. * Pick up mail from mailbox; open and distribute mail. May occasionally be required to conduct business for the company at the post office, bank or other off-site location. * Perform all other related duties as assigned. **Job Qualifications** * Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)/ Business course work or equivalent in related discipline. * Experience: None * Certification/Licensure: None * Other: Customer Service/Order entry, keyboarding accuracy and speed, excellent verbal communication skills, P2000 and order enter/AS400, Lotus, Microsoft Windows software. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
