Customer Service Representative
Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions in our Jackson, MI Cylinders facility is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Care Team. You will work in a collaborative team environment assisting our Customers/Sales Team/Plant Operations in helping our customers with their power solution needs.

This position reports to our Customer Service Manager. Also, this position works closely with our other Customer Service Representatives and will manage different customer accounts after training is completed.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Provides Danfoss customers, distributors, end users, potential customers and Field Sales with product, delivery, pricing, claims/returns and program information. · Manages customer orders, including order entry and order changes. Expedites orders and shipments with operations. · Responsible for maintaining accurate customer information, validating price, verifying order terms and conditions, confirming routing rules and entering shipment, quantity and date information · Will assist in coordinating quote requests, order management, expedites, claims/returns, implementation of current Marketing programs, assisting with implementation of plant objectives/initiatives. · Be involved in department / plant continuous process improvement events, meetings and collaboration with other department team members striving for customer excellence. Background & Skills

Basic Qualifications:

Two (2) to four (4) years-experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a manufacturing or product power solutions type industry. Work experience working in a cross-functional environment with direct responsibilities helping customers with their inquiries. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, both now and in the future
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Will consider non-degree applicants based on customer service, technical or previous work background roles / achievements. Experience working with Distributors, OEM’s or direct buying customers is also helpful in this role.


Job Criteria:

MS Office skills: WORD, Excel and PowerPoint Experience helpful, but not required working with ERP computer systems/software. (SAP, MFGPRO, SalesForce, etc…). Communication skills – Act as the voice of the customer (VOC) in discussions with our other plant team members. Employee Benefits
