Description We are offering an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative role within a public sector organization, based in a city in California. The role is onsite and provides a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Handling inbound and outbound calls in a detail oriented manner • Delivering excellent customer service to resolve issues effectively • Efficient data entry and order entry tasks • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks • Corresponding with customers via email in a detail oriented and timely manner • Scheduling appointments as needed • Using customer service software to enhance customer experience • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role within the government sector • Proven ability to handle inbound calls efficiently • Experience in a call center customer service environment is required • Strong customer service skills, including excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in data entry tasks and order entry operations • Familiarity with email correspondence and ability to professionally respond to customer inquiries • Experience with both inbound and outbound calls • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word • Demonstrated ability to schedule appointments effectively • Knowledge of and experience with customer service software • Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
