Customer Service Representative- Order Entry
Job Title: Customer Service Representative (International and Domestic Accounts) Location: Addison, IL (Fully Onsite) Pay Range: $36.06 per hour Job Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team, responsible for providing exceptional support to both international and domestic customers. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met through effective communication and efficient order management. You will collaborate with customers and vendors to provide timely quotes, process orders, and manage delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities: + Work with both international and domestic customers to address inquiries and fulfill their needs. + Read technical drawings to understand customer requirements and create accurate quotes. + Generate and send quotes to customers based on their specific needs and specifications. + Communicate with customers via email and phone to clarify requirements, follow up on orders, and provide updates. + Process customer orders and track their status from initiation to delivery. + Provide timely order follow-up, ensuring customers are informed of the order status and expected delivery times. + Collaborate with vendors to coordinate product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules. Required Skills and Qualifications + Customer Service: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to manage customer expectations and address concerns. + Quoting: Experience in creating accurate and competitive quotes based on customer specifications. + Order Processing: Ability to manage orders through the entire process, from quote generation to delivery. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word: Strong familiarity with document creation and editing. + Reading Drawings: Must be able to interpret technical drawings to determine customer needs. + Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks. + Written Communication: Strong writing skills for email correspondence and documentation. Additional Qualifications: + Intermediate level of experience in a customer service or similar role. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and organization. + Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
