The Part Time Customer Service Representative will work directly with customers in placing orders and solving problems to the customer’s satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assist with placing dairy orders accurately and in a timely manner as needed.Answer all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Process orders received by fax and through incoming/outgoing calls.Process projected or standing orders according to customer guidelines.File and attach dairy invoices routinely.Resolve unexpected customer problems using a team-based approach.Maintain high quality standards in customer interactions.Identify opportunities to improve Customer Service processes, procedures, and practices.Participate in Holiday rotation.Fill in for other customer service personnel as needed.Assist in Customer Service department as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position. Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Preferred Education and Experience

High School education or equivalent preferred.Prior customer service experience preferred.Data entry and computer literacy preferred.Experience with a 10 key calculator preferred.
