Customer Service Representative (Service Company), Temp-to-perm, Franklin Square, NY

FlexStaff is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work for one of our external clients, a service company located in Franklin Square, NY.

This is a full-time job, temp-to-perm.  Schedule: 8:30AM – 5:00PM, Monday – Friday, Weekly Hours: 40.

Work is 100% from the office.

This role requires handling a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving inquiries efficiently. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction and provide accurate information. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently, ensuring a positive resolution. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions using our CRM system. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide timely follow-ups. Meet or exceed performance metrics, such as response time, call quality, and customer satisfaction. Stay informed about product/service updates, policies, and procedures to provide up-to-date information.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a customer service or call center environment, preferably handling heavy call volumes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong active listening skills with the ability to empathize and build rapport with customers. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with CRM systems or call center software is a plus. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
