Responsibilities*Working remotely:
Participate daily in a phone tree answering incoming calls. Accurately and efficiently schedule patients appointments with patients or referring clinics utilizing Axium.Facilitate coordinating appointments with other departments with the SOD. Manage phone calls by triaging calls, retrieving messages, calling patients to address concerns and scheduling appointments. Review and schedule patient appointments from internal and external referrals weekly. Working directly with the clinic Patient Services Intermediate, obtain, verify and update patients insurance and demographic information Additional administrative responsibilities as necessary.Required Qualifications*Excellent Attendance record. 1 year of related work experience. Knowledge of basic dental terminology. Prior experience performing complex scheduling. Effective Communicator and interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team setting.Demonstrates active listening - excellent organizational skill and attention to detail. High school diploma or GEDWork LocationsThis position is located at the School of Dentistry at 1011 N University Ave.
