JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:  Service Coordinator

Purpose

Environmental Specialties, has a need for a Service Coordinator at our Raleigh, NC office.   Assist in the day-to-day operation of the service department by coordinating the technicians’ schedules.  This would include, but is not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

Schedule and communicate each day with Service Technicians on progress of service call or contract work and update schedule accordingly. Communicate with customers daily about technician ETAs, or materials shipping to job site. Resolve customer issues/problems. Follow up on all outgoing shipments (sales orders, job parts, etc.) Create work orders in our software system with information given by the customer and/or field personnel, including correct Purchase Order, description of work Use a scheduling program to maintain a log of all technicians’ job location at any given time. Review and approve timesheets for accuracy. Assist other Service Coordinators covering other areas as needed. Provide parts and repair quotes to customers. Prepare all work orders for invoicing. Coordinate after-hour calls on an as needed basis.

REQUIREMENTS

Heavy background in administrative support of a dispatch role Prior experience scheduling Service Technicians in construction especially HVAC equipment industry preferred, or other comparable industry Strong communication, organizational & time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling & prioritizing multiple tasks at a time. Strong problem-solving skills, strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated with the ability to work as part of the service team. Driven attitude with solid work ethic, and eagerness to take on whatever demands arise. We are technology driven requiring computer literacy.
