Customer Service Specialist
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist (strategic caller) to join our client's team in Brentwood, Tennessee. This role will primarily involve initiating contact with vendors, introducing them to new products, and maintaining vendor records. It also entails efficient data entry and resolution of customer inquiries. The job function takes place in a fast-paced setting withina call center environment. Responsibilities: • Initiate contact with strategic vendors, introducing them to new products and services. • Maintain an organized vendor queue, prioritizing calls and retiring vendors who opt not to participate. • Input vendor and client data into specific databases, ensuring accurate recording of contact details and agreement information. • Act as the liaison between vendor and client to address payment issues and negotiate payment terms. • Employ customer satisfaction techniques while multitasking, attentively listening, inputting data, and solving problems. • Use multiple applications to assist customers efficiently. • Handle customer inquiries and provide them with accurate account information. • Cross-sell additional products and services. • Complete additional tasks assigned based on business needs. Requirements • Proficient in using Avaya CMS and other computer programs • Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems • Experience with customer service software • Proven ability to assist customers effectively and efficiently • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to problem-solve and handle customer inquiries and complaints • Experience in a customer service role is preferred • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other departments • Proficient in English language, both written and spoken • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain professionalism at all times • Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays if required • High school diploma or equivalent education level is required • Must have a reliable internet connection for a primarily remote hybrid model.
