As a Customer Service Specialist, you will support our Customer Service daily operational rhythms. This includes answering phone calls from customers, distributors and sales personnel, responding to email inquiries from general mailboxes and supporting manufacturing with order information. You may also assist in training new employees in addition to other duties assigned by management.
Success in this role will include the ability to research answers using multiple resources to process inquiries in a timely manner. This individual will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, have attention to detail and be well organized. In addition, must demonstrate proficiency in written and verbal communications, along with business processes, product and technology. Is a subject matter expert in order process work flow.
**The Job:**
As a Customer Service Specialist, you’ll be working as a **remote** employee.
You’ll get to:
+ Process customer and internal requests in a positive and professional manner, while adhering to Stanley Black & Decker’s Code of Business Ethics
+ The ability to spend an average of 4 hours a day answering incoming calls and execute outgoing calls in support of customers, Sales, and supplier and peers in a timely manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
+ Assist the team and help other members to increase their knowledge and overcome roadblocks
+ Process returns, replacement orders, customer requests for literature/information/technical support/order status and pricing
+ Process shipment inquiries including, but not limited to, freight calculations, expedite orders, return authorizations, and delays
+ Enter credit card transactions while ensuring accuracy
+ Ability to learn/recognize multiple brands of equipment for industrial applications

+ High School Diploma/GED
+ Minimum 3+ years of Customer Service role
+ SAP and SalesForce experience preferred
+ Self-starter with ability to work independently
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook
+ Strong communication skills – written and verbal
+ Commitment to Customer Service
+ Occasional travel for onsite trainings required
