Customer Service Supervisor
Description We are in search of a dedicated Customer Service Supervisor to join our team in Groveport, Ohio. The primary function of this role is to supervise a team of contractors in a manufacturing setting. This is a short term contract employment opportunity, where you will be tasked with supervising, organizing, and cataloging large volumes of records, along with other administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily operations of a team of contractors • Directly supervise and manage the team's work hours, including arrival, lunch, and break times • Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Maintain comprehensive customer credit records and perform regular checks • Handle any performance issues within the team, escalating to higher management when necessary • Conduct manual research and data entry tasks as required • Utilize MS Excel for cataloging purposes • Ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments • Perform administrative tasks as required, including filing and reconcilement • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as required. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisor role or related field • Proficient in data entry and data entry - numeric • Demonstrated ability in filing and manual research • Possess administrative experience and skills • Familiarity with reconcilement processes • Must have basic office skills • Excellent communication skills, including effective communication techniques • Experience in supervisory oversight, supervising and direct supervision • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performance teams • Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints professionally • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software or tools • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion • Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays as required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
