Customer Service Support Assistant Location: White Plains, US **Summary** Provides efficient and cost-effective office support operations to the NYPA enterprise. Ensures NYPA information assets are protected, accessible and supports business needs. Provides support for efficient office management like copy/print services, mailroom services, shipping & receiving, reprographics and executive driving. Manages office supply inventory, prepares purchase orders, and processes/delivers office supply requests.\#LI-AH1 **Responsibilities** + Provide ground transportation service, open vehicle doors for passenger(s), carry luggage and communicate clearly with Executive Assistants and Travel representatives. + Maintain logs and itineraries for driving assignments. + Provide courier service for all NYPA materials when outside vendors cannot provide this service. + Provide backup for staff members in other departments in their absence. + Provide all backup and cross-functional work for any of the other members of the team. + Receive, sort and distribute internal (according to mail runs) and external mail. + Make hand deliveries and pick-ups of important documents and packages to executives or external parties, including Post Office, Bank Deposits and Bill Deliveries. + Operate in-house printing equipment and provide reprographic services for NYPA sites and headquarters. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Demonstrate an advanced level of Customer Service. + Ability to safely operate automobiles. + Thorough knowledge of Mailroom or Reprographic or wireless devices or equipment operations. + Ability to operate and maintain office equipment. + Basic Awareness/understanding of division between landlord and tenant obligations under NYPA’s lease. + Ability to address routine issues and resolve disagreement with onsite rep of building management. + Ability to formulate modest work scope, time schedule and other elements of work requisitions and ability to negotiate competitive prices; awareness of need to consult with other NYPA departments + Interpersonal skills to work effectively with building management, and potential vendors, contractors and employees. **Education, Experience and Certifications** + High school diploma, GED certificate required. + Valid drivers license required. + May require certifications and licensures needed to meet Energy industry, federal, state, or local regulations. + Minimum 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **Physical Requirements** + Ability to sit at desk for long durations of time. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates’ relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
