HOW A CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT SPECIALIST WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

Windows Operating System: Perform system diagnosis, troubleshooting, system administration and configuration of different flavors, and versions of Microsoft Windows Operating System.MAC Operating System: Perform system diagnosis, troubleshooting, system administration and configuration of different flavors, and versions of macOS (Operating System).Technical and Analytical Competency: Keep abreast of technology developments, learn new hardware and software, comprehend product limitations, analyze technical issues, and communicate technical information clearly to clients.Organizational Competency: Follow technical instructions, multi-task, prioritize and schedule work, and meet established deadlines.Interpersonal Competency: Listen actively, render empathy, maintain professional demeanor in frustrating situations, and write concise reports, e-mails, and memos.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.Experience: 5+ years of relatedRequired Technical skills: Demonstrated experience in customer serviceDemonstrated experience in technical support serviceDemonstrated experience in system administration for Windows and Linux systemsDemonstrated experience trouble-shooting hardware, telephony, and videoDemonstrated experience deploying and testing hardware and softwareDemonstrated experience using an enterprise ticketing systemDemonstrated experience installing and maintaining Apple Devices Demonstrated experience working with Windows Operating SystemsDemonstrated experience working with Linux Operating SystemsDemonstrated knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures and troubleshootingDemonstrated working knowledge with VPN clients such as Cisco VPN and othersSecurity Clearance Level: TS/SCI with PolygraphDesired skills and abilities:Demonstrated exceptional security practice in working with Restricted Handling (RH) dataExperience working with special systems such as FSA3 and FiCETrained and Certified as a Data Transfer OfficerTrained and Certified as a Krypto handling technicianTrained to support special “Back Room” requirements Advanced training in FSA3 and FiCE architecture and in associated troubleshooting proceduresLocation: Reston, VA - On Customer SiteU.S. Citizenship Required
