D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Customer Service Technician. The right candidate will primary goal is to maintain an elevated level of customer satisfaction among homeowners. This is achieved by facilitating all customer warranty requests, whether by making the actual repairs or scheduling subcontractors to make repairs. The Customer Service Technician is responsible for proactively resolving customer issues after the closing of the home.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Computer skills are a must. Must be able to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience.Construction Experience and previous Customer Service Experience is preferred. Perform Quality Control Inspections (Q.C.I.) which includes photographic and written documentation of repair findings.Perform New Home Orientation’s which includes educating buyers on components of their home and the Warranty Program.Receive written work orders for repairs to homes and/or verbal instructions from supervisor.May make initial contact with homeowners and schedule inspection appointments.Schedule and manage subcontractors to make repairs.Develop and maintain good rapport with contractors and ensure quality work.Deal with the customer on a daily basis to assure that the customer's concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.D.R.
