Customer Service (Work Order)

**Purpose and Scope:**
Operate a centralized customer request center to receive, enter data into NexGen IT, and process Service Request (SR) / Work Task (WT) IAW work task prioritization specified in Work Management Playbook, associated process maps, and AFCEC Business Process Library (BPL). This position is in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) and is located at Ascension Island Auxiliary Airfield (AAAF).
**Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure timely and accurate ability to track and monitor customer requests accepted for CE maintenance action from receipt to completion.
+ Record keeping for Operations internal maintenance requirements without SRs, like system generated Preventative Maintenance work tasks or continuous work documentation of plant operations or street sweeping, shall support appropriate work management requirements.
+ Accurately capture costs of all labor and materiel on a per task basis and correctly assign the work task record to both the correct real property asset and end-customer ensuring that accumulated real property annual operating costs are captured and enable cost reimbursement billing when applicable.
+ Capture and preserve maintenance history in NexGen IT, using both standard enforced maintenance / outage reason codes as well as Contractor entered maintenance notes.
+ Prepare a monthly AAAF Facility Work Activity Summary that includes relevant metrics, status of facilities planned work, facility related issues IAW AFI 32-1001.
+ Prepare a monthly summary of significant infrastructure, facility, and equipment problems since the previous summary (e.g., water main breaks, unscheduled water or power outages, wastewater or reverse osmosis plant impairment
+ Adhere to all data entry quality and accuracy standards in NexGen IT.
+ Provide, receive and process completed Work Clearance Requests (including AF Form 103, locally developed work clearance requests, road closure permits, and utilities outages).
+ Coordinate planned outages through the COR, mission critical customers, and appropriate agencies prior to scheduling and must be completed a minimum of 3 business days in advance.
+ Process all service request (accept or reject) within 1 business day of receipt.
+ Provide coordinated work tasks and/or facility projects for Work Request Review Board (WRRB) review and approval.
+ Communicate Work Task decisions, investment plans, repair timelines, and status updates to customers and briefings within established timelines/battle rhythm directed by the government.
+ Initiate and develop work schedules to include coordination with Sub-AMP managers.
**Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:**
+ Must have proven experience with NexGen and Maximo.
+ High school diploma or equivalent training & experience.
+ Prior Air Force R&O experience preferred.
+ Ability to read and write English is required.
+ Solid communications skills, strong interpersonal skills.
+ Strong ability to work as a member of a diverse, dynamic team.
+ Outstanding problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
+ Candidate is required to be a USN to fill this position.
+ Possess a valid state issued driver’s license and passport.
+ Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
+ Prior overseas government contracting experience preferred.
**Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:**
+ Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.
+ Able to stand for long periods of time such as eight (8) to ten (10) hours, bend, kneel, and reach to store/retrieve supplies.
+ Involves work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds.
+ Constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness,
+ Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.
+ Some positions involve work in environments (e.g., shipboard, labs, outside locations, etc.) where mechanical equipment, etc. is installed, tested, analyzed/monitored, operated, and/or maintained.
**OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES**
