The Customer Strategy and Solution Sales Team is accountable for the customer services sales strategy on select high-growth accounts and supporting Territory growth. We are thought leaders, champions of customer outcomes, and evangelists of our Softchoice strategy.

As a Customer Solutions Lead for SMB, you will help customers reduce their spending, optimize their technology, and innovate business through our Professional, Managed, and Agility services focused on:

Business Consulting Applications and Data Collaboration and Productivity Modern Infrastructure Security
 

What you’ll do:
 

Consultative Selling:

Demonstrate advanced consultative selling skills to identify and address complex business challenges faced by customers and propose solutions involving AI, Cloud, and Advanced Workplace. Build and maintain trust with customers and partners through deep engagement and understanding of their business and industry trends. Utilize sophisticated probing techniques to uncover customer business challenges and provide tailored multi-threaded solutions.

Account Management:

Drive substantial growth and manage a diverse book of business focused on services, including advanced pipeline generation, accurate forecasting, and achieving sales quotas. Qualify opportunities with precision and understand the progression and probability of deals within the sales cycle. Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive account and close plans with a strategic approach.

Value Proposition:

Clearly articulate the Softchoice value proposition and effectively present our advanced capabilities to customers and partners. Own and deliver tailored proposals, ensuring they are relevant and impactful for diverse audiences Demonstrate expertise in explaining the value of Cloud solutions for infrastructure, applications, and data, as well as Modern Workplace and Advanced Workplace Services.

Managed Services:

Possess a deep understanding of our Managed Services capabilities and how they address complex business challenges. Map right-fit Cloud and Workplace Managed Services offerings to solve specific, advanced business problems.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Territory sales teams and leaders to ensure the Territory achieves overall success with services Establish and nurture strong relationships with internal teams, including presales, delivery, and business development. Act as a trusted advisor by maintaining a regular communication cadence with customers and partners, providing guidance through transitions, and ensuring successful adoption and sustained utilization of new solutions.


What you'll bring to the table:

Technical Solutions Fundamentals:

Demonstrate a robust understanding of utilizing technical solutions to address complex business challenges and meet organizational goals. Ability to map right-fit Cloud and Advanced Workplace Professional Services and Partner Services to specific, advanced business needs. Knowledge of leveraging various delivery methods (Project-based, Partner, Agility) to fulfill client requirements.

Cloud and Workplace Proficiency:

Strong understanding of Cloud and Workplace solutions, including Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft 365. Expertise in articulating the value of Cloud solutions for infrastructure, applications, and data, as well as the Modern Workplace, to our customers. Good understanding of the unique use cases of each Cloud provider and the ability to develop roadmaps that align with business outcomes.

Professional and Managed Services Sales:

Proven track record in leading and driving sales for multi-threaded Professional and Managed Services solutions. Ability to create, maintain, and execute a Market Attack Plan and contribute actively to the services growth strategy.

Relationship Management:

Demonstrated ability to manage relationships at all organizational levels and mobilize stakeholders to execute and meet key deliverables. Skilled in working with diverse personality types and establishing relationships with TAEs and TSL. Proven ability to build meaningful relationships with customers and partners, expanding into VP/C-suite

Analytical and Strategic Thinking:

Creative and analytical thinker with a strong customer service orientation and excellent decision-making skills. Champion of ROI, with the ability to effectively articulate and present Softchoice’s value proposition to customers and partners. Sustained demonstrated ability to leverage internal forecasting tools and provide guidance on deal progression and strategy adjustments.

Sales Experience:

5-7 years of experience selling technical solutions within a sales or Pre-Sales role focused on the SMB segment. Competent in owning and managing forecasting processes and collaborating with TAEs and TSL to review anomalies.

Leadership and Mentorship:

Acts as an onboarding buddy and mentor to junior CSLs to assist with their professional development Proficient at providing constructive feedback based on experience and guiding others through complex sales processes.

Presentation and Communication:

Ability to review and coach presentations by others (TAEs, MSS, JAs, etc.) to customers to ensure alignment with sales strategy and consultative selling.

Trusted Advisor:

Demonstrates the ability to guide customers through the complexities of business challenges and sell outcomes versus solutions. Proven ability to act as a change champion by effectively communicating new solutions' vision, benefits, and value to SMB customers.
