The Sales Support Specialist (SSS) promotes customer advocacy. A successful SSS will be adaptable, organized, use a high level of decision-making skills while aligning to our business’ financial objectives a continuous customer happiness. All activities are to be handled in accordance with the company’s goals of safety, compliance, and code of conduct.
What you'll do:
Assists sellers in the pursuit of business growth, accurate customer master data, and customer satisfaction via consistent and timely task management Maintain a strong professional working relationship with our sellers, our customers, and our internal supply chain Acts as an extension of our sales team to our customer base and encourage growth in our contribution margin by providing the highest level of support Handles all documentation requests for customers and works to complete all required forms for internal use and follow up with customers on external request from suppliers Assists with crafting, and reviewing all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports to keep sales team on budget and target for their territories Provides customers with sample requests, and sample follow-up procedures to ensure customer has everything they need for potential new business opportunities Ensures all customers are set up accurately via master data and audits quarterly to provide quick updates Quarterbacks the new business checklist to ensure organization is equipped to efficiently handle new business for the customer Ensures material codes and pricing are established accurately, stock and forecasts are set in place, and customer-specific delivery instructions have been addressed
What you’ll need:
High School Diploma required, Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. A combination of education and/or experience will be considered for the ideal candidate Prior experience working in customer solutions with B2B customers preferred Excellent problem solving skills with ability to resolve complex business issues Ability to handle a wide range of detailed work activities, multi-tasking experience a must Adept with working in fast paced environment Proficiency using SharePoint and Tableau (or equivalent reporting tools) and MS Office package preferred, strong excel skills are encouraged SAP or relevant ERP system and Salesforce experience a plus
