Salary Range: 80k - $100k (Actual compensation is commensurate with job related knowledge, skills, experience, etc.)

Overview

Rubicon is seeking a Customer Success Manager to support and grow our existing SaaS clients. This role is tasked with ensuring our government partners fully adopt, use, and leverage the RUBICONSmartCity software to increase their performance and monitoring of day-to-day hauling activities. We are looking for proactive candidates with a proven track record of delighting internal and external customers with excellent service. 

Our preferred candidate must have previous solid waste experience preferably in a government operation. Additionally, knowledge of routing software for high-density fleet operations is desirable. Flexibility, tech savviness, and a passion for cities are also important attributes. The ideal candidate also will have experience in account management or customer success.

This position can be located in Washington, DC, Maryland or the Northeast.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

S. or B.A. or comparable work experience. Minimum 8 years’ work experience required. Customer Success Proficiency -- Experience with Account Management or Customer Success, ideally for a SaaS product. Extensive experience and knowledge within the sanitation industry is required. At Least 2 years of routing and logistics experience is required. Tech-savvy -- Experience with SaaS technology, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Proven track record of building rapport and relationships at all levels, with an emphasis on being able to build relationships with government staff and municipal leadership. Customer Advocate -- Work closely with key internal teams (Business Development, Launch/Implementation, and Product Teams) while advocating for the customer.  Liaison -- Ability to balance internal and external stakeholder expectations. Good listening skills and ability to understand underlying issues and how we can help solve them. Adaptability -- Comfortable working across a range of hierarchies and environments. Strong data analysis skills including creating data visualizations and related reports, using Excel, PowerBI, or other tools. Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment. Adaptability and flexibility are critical skills. Excellent writer and communicator with strong presentation skills via phone, online and in person. High level of organization and great attention to detail. Microsoft Office expertise required.
