Customer Support Engineer

Summary: Customer Support Engineer needed for high-level 2nd tier technical and on-site support for 3-D printers.

Responsibilities:

Train customers on-site to ensure knowledge transfer and product competence.

Lead escalated cases with the reseller's engineers.

Conduct beta test installations and gather feedback.

Implement Engineering/Field Change Orders effectively.

Identify and address training needs to enhance field engineers' proficiency.

Qualifications:

BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.

Experience with Powder Bed Fusion / Binder Jetting metal additive manufacturing necessary.

Minimum three years of customer support experience in a technical role.

Proven background in 3D printing or advanced manufacturing sectors.

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to travel up to 75% primarily within Chicago and surrounding states; company will reimburse for mileage/gas.

Possession of a reliable vehicle is mandatory.

Periodic travel to HQ in Michigan every 6-8 weeks expected.
