The Customer Support Engineer support smooth execution of the purchase orders from the customers. Acting as Emerson’s primary point of contact for customers, the role involves all post-order activities, including order management, documentation, invoicing etc. Always strives to provide the highest standards of customer service working with peers, Outside Sales, Service Engineers, Business Managers, etc. NOC, Dolphin Energy, QAFCO, QELNG, QE are some of the key customers that you will handle on the daily basis. You will be based in Emerson, Qatar. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Review of Purchase orders and connect with customer for any amendments. Ensure that purchase orders are commercially and technically compliant before processing for order entry in accordance with relevant procedures Maintain a comprehensive register supervising the history of purchase orders (from issue of PO to delivery) Acknowledge purchase order in customer portal or through emails Coordinate with sales and application and conduct Kiff-off meeting (KOM) with customers as needed Facilitate smooth order execution by coordinating with factories, ensuring materials are shipped to customers on time. Check with factory on the order status and communicate to customers on regular basis Connect with factory and Engineering teams for queries regarding lead-time, special requirements Attend customer meetings as required with regards to purchase orders & post order activities Prepare and submit customer documentation as per agreed VDRL/SDRL in line with documentation cycle for assembly orders. Align with local and international Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as the Emerson Ethics policy, with respect to all business activities Fulfill any other reasonable duties as required including support for Outside Sales, if required.

Experience in working with control valve products, applications & manufacturing activities. Experience in preparing and submitting customer documentations Excellent interpretation skills relating to engineering and manufacturing activities Ability to communicate optimally. Able to interact positively with all customers, recognizing and adapting to the cultural differences that exist.
