Customer Support Specialist

Our Customer Support team is growing and needs to add another Customer Support Specialist to the team! The Customer Support Specialist position will serve a critical role in correctly processing of Purchase Orders (customer orders, jobs, projects, and SROs) and documentation for proper processing of orders through to shipment end user.
Primary Responsibilities
Receive, process, and accept incoming POs in the system. Download POs as needed from customer portals. Manage the new customer setup process by collecting the appropriate information. Maintain terms established in MSAs and SPAs. Verify that orders meet all required criteria (price, lead time, validity, payment terms, customer information, etc.). Track jobs for invoicing and milestone payments. Provide timely and up to date information to customers and internal team members. Handle incoming and outgoing sales-related correspondence and emails. Identify and resolve problems efficiently and escalate when needed. Maintain necessary order-related documentation, while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and agreements. Collaborate with internal departments to address customer needs and inquiries effectively. Submit and track warranty and concessions. Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in their implementation if approved.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changes within the organization High attention to detail Provide excellent customer service Experience in sales-related processes Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties.
