Sonic Reference Laboratory (SRL), is the national reference laboratory for Sonic Healthcare USA. POSITION SUMMARY
The Customer Service Department is a change of pace from the high stress hospital laboratory or overnight shift. As a Customer Support Specialist I in the Customer Service Department, you will deliver high quality service on all calls answered in the clinical queue. Requires ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Provides accurate and timely information to supporting departments, clients, and patients, adhering to laboratory procedures. Adheres to departmental policies and procedures to include departmental programs such as call quality monitors and incentive call volume.
Location: Austin, TX (100% onsite)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities of the positions include data entry and lab assistant duties. Acts as liaison between laboratory personnel and upper management. Maintains departmental operating policies and procedures to include departmental programs, quality control, quality assurance and safety. Reviews receipt of specimens receipt from all patient service centers, in-office phlebotomists and clients. Ensures all specimens are processed, data entered and shipped in accordance with company guidelines and meets shipment deadlines. Takes remedial action when indicated. Communicate effectively in verbal and written forms.QUALIFICATIONS
