Customer Technical Advocate

Role Overview: As a Technical Customer Advocate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers' success with Siemens EDA products. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction and secure technical design wins for our product offerings, particularly focusing on the Xpedition product family.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Presentations and Demonstrations: Deliver engaging technical presentations and conduct comprehensive product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Siemens EDA tools. Development of Evaluation Materials: Develop and provide high-quality demonstration and evaluation materials for PCB design products targeted at the Small & Medium Business (SMB) market. Best Practice Kits: Create "best practice" startup kits with standard tool configurations, templates, and guidelines to facilitate quick and effective tool adoption by customers. Customer Guidance: Guide prospects through the evaluation and purchasing process, offering expert assistance with tool adoption, integration, and troubleshooting. Agile Development Participation: Actively participate in Agile development demo meetings, providing valuable technical feedback to software development teams to enhance product features and usability. Global Collaboration: Collaborate with peers and teams globally, ensuring seamless communication and integration of efforts across different regions. Account Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of strategic account plans aimed at achieving market share gains and securing technical design wins for Siemens EDA. Consultative Sales Support: Support consultative sales efforts at leading semiconductor and electronic equipment manufacturers, leveraging your technical expertise to drive customer success.

Qualifications:

Education: MSEE/BSEE with 2+ years of design experience. PCB Design Experience: Significant experience in PCB design processes and EDA tools. Demonstrated experience in PCB design, fabrication, and verification. Technical Skills:

·       Hands-on experience with schematic, board layout, and signal integrity tools.

·       Strong background and experience with scripting/programming languages such as Python, Tcl, VBScript, VB.net, C#, or similar.

·       Familiarity with Siemens EDA tools, particularly the Xpedition product family, is preferred.

·       Experience with Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, or Zuken CR-5000/8000 is a plus.

·       Prior experience as an applications engineer is preferred.

·       Above average competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Working OS knowledge of Windows.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and integrate feedback effectively. Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support customer engagements and collaborate with global teams. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The salary range for this position is $87,600 to $157,700 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.  Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
