Customer Value Manager - GCF Description: **Position Title** **:** **CVM Manager, GCF** **Pay Rate:** $130,000 -$155,000 _Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range._ **Category/Shift** : Salaried Full-Time **Physical Location** : 6400 Poplar Avenue Memphis, TN 38197 **The Job You Will Perform:** The Fluff CVM manager serves a critical function within the global GCF commercial team. With a more refined asset footprint, focused EBITDA generation, and tasked to push sales toward 2 million tons across the globe in the coming years, the level of customer analysis and internal sales coordination is mission critical to delivering financial results. The proliferation of fluff customer requirements and subsequent complexity requires the focused effort of a skilled CVM Manager who can effectively manage the associated costs while improving the customer experience. The Fluff CVM Manager in an 80/20 mindset will support select contract proposals, prosecting, and identify and lead select business’ initiatives to achieve the following outcomes: + Improved customer experience and with the appropriate GCF value proposition and value equation + Assess the value of service solutions across the fluff platform and translate into competitive customer offerings + Bridge service and value component inconsistencies across our contract base while building on best practices + Expand margins and top line through the identification of opportunities to reduce cost in the value chain and/or command premiums for products and service + Measurement and analysis of GCF performance relative to competitors and the communication of any relevant findings to key stakeholders + Share and apply wins across accounts and territories including effective reporting and relevant information availability to key stakeholders This position is vital to the strategic objectives of the fluff business: defending and improving our leading segment position, achieving the desired growth with the right customers while shedding value detractors; transforming our customer portfolio to improve financial performance while tracking the progress of incremental commercial value generation. The current focus will be heavy on the service side due to the current business and competitive environment. Key Accountabilities(customer experience, competitive offerings, profitable growth): + Identify existing or new opportunities to improve the customer experience and GCF’s service offerings through needs assessment, value quantification, value equation development against capabilities and clear articulation of the proposal. + Participate in select RFPs with customer driven deadlines + Tailor or/and segment the “go to market” approach and value for services across the fluff platform (deliver, consignment, pooled stock, access to Innovation, customer service, CTS, etc) + Laison between sales and cross functional teams (supply chain, technical, extended manufacturing, customer service, sustainability, Innovation, IT) to achieve competitive service offerings that are timely and financially accurate + Mine for mutual value opportunities with existing or prospective customers and translate into tangible offerings that generate economic value and/or “stickiness” + Improve visibility of key metrics and processes through enhanced reporting and analysis + Lead/support specific customer initiatives to improve the customer experience and troubleshoot (when necessary) + Curate financial and operational analysis to account teams and proposals. + Track value capture and generation across CVM efforts + Translate competitive benchmarks to understand value differentiation. + Identify and manage non-price initiatives for the business + Meet with customers to identify needs to maintain or improve the customer experience + Aggregate and communicate customer expectations vs GCF performance **The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:** + 4-year degree: Business, Marketing, or Supply Chain preferred. + 5-10 years of relevant business experience. + Working knowledge of Supply chain fundamentals and systems. + Facilitation, commercial excellence processes and tools preferred. + Demonstrated ability to take initiative and lead multiple projects. + Strong analytical background. + Proficient in Proficy, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI. + Customer experience preferred. + Fluff pulp and absorbent hygiene experience preferred. + Key Competencies: Customer Focus, Business Acumen, Making the Complex Simple, Command/Communication skills, Organizational/Interpersonal Savvy, Process Management, Drive for Results, Priority Setting, Comfort around senior management, Dealing with Ambiguity **The Impact You Will Make:** We continue to build a better future for people, the planet, and our company!
