Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Atlanta or Chicago sites are looking for a new Customs Brokerage Consultant to join our Customs team. **Your Role** As a Customs Consultant, you'll support the Customs Consulting Service offering across the Kuehne+Nagel Platform. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Customs Consulting. **Your Responsibilities** + Maintainhighly compliant customs service offerings, which may include consulting, duty drawback, reconciliation, FTZ, as well as others as needed. + Ensureall customs consulting service offerings meet all necessary customsregulations and standards primarily for United States, Canada and Mexico. + Activelyengage and support new sales opportunities. + Ensure consulting offering that seamlessly connects other products that are partof a comprehensive customs and transportation offerings. + Providetimely, high quality expertise to external and internal customers. **Your Skills and Experiences** + 5+years of leadership experience in Customs Brokerage. + 5+ year of experience in customsconsulting and project management (including Consulting, Duty Drawback, Reconciliation, FTZ, and Valuation). + Demonstrated salesacumen, comfortable working directly with customers and Kuehne+Nagel sales. + Knowledgeable in all areas of customs import regulations and other agency requirements across USA/CAN/MEX (border). + Proficiency in Brokerage systems including Cargo Wise and other visibilitytools (preferred). + LicensedU.S. Customs Broker (highly preferred). + Professionalwritten and verbal communication skills. + Strong attention to detail with large amounts of data, research and managing multiple projects. **Good Reasons to Join** At Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
