Playing a significant role in overseeing the customs process for both air and ocean shipments you’ll build strong working partnerships with our customers and service providers whilst collaborating with our team of experienced customs professionals– some of the best in the business!

Your role as a Customs Clerk:

Complete and submit customs declarationsPrepare and review relevant documentation i.e. invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway billsCommunicate with customers, customs authorities & internal stakeholders, on the status of shipments and offering guidance on customs-related mattersResolve issues relating to disputes, inspections or customs delays and update relevant partiesDetermine goods tariff classifications and calculate duties, taxes, and fees

 

About you 

Experience in customs/imports/export processes is essentialAdministration experience in a fast-paced office environment, with customer contactA high attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and efficiently manage workloadStrong working knowledge of MS OutlookThe right to live and work in the UK – Note: sponsorship is not available
